Postdoctoral position in particle physics and cosmology, APCTP, Pohang, Korea:
The junior research group “Particle Physics and the Early Universe” at the headquarter of the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP), Pohang, Korea invites applications for a few postdoctoral fellow positions in particle physic and cosmology.
The group is led by Chang Sub Shin and has broad research interests, including particle phenomenology and model building, dark matter, baryo-leptogenesis and cosmological perturbation.
The position is initially for two years, with the possibility of a third year depending on the research performance, mutual agreement or funding situation. The starting date of the appointments is negotiable, but it should not be later than the end of 2017.
Interested applicants should submit their CV, a list of publications, and a statement of research interests to changsub.shin@apctp.org by the Jan. 28, 2017. They should also provide the contact detail of three references who can write letters of recommendation. Review of applications will continue until the positions are filled, but priority will be given to the applications received by this date. Those who have backgrounds in particle physics, cosmology, astrophysics, and string theory are encouraged to apply.
